Sarah Watts

From the very beginning, Sarah has been an excellent spokeswoman with an inviting personality. Sarah was only 11 years old when she started a beauty and lifestyle YouTube channel. The channel matured alongside Sarah, as she consistently posted videos from middle school to college about makeup, décor, and advice. Sarah's YouTube career led her to discover her passion for content creation and branding, which led Sarah to the University of Florida to pursue a degree in Marketing.

While at UF, Sarah got involved in on-campus life by working at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center as a crew member. In this role, Sarah had the opportunity to work with 400+ other students! Sarah loved meeting and collaborating with so many fellow Gators to represent the University of Florida in a professional and friendly manner. Her bright personality made her the perfect person to welcome students and help them make the most of their time in college.

Sarah moved off-campus and fell in love with apartment living, leading her to work as a leasing agent for over two years in college. Sarah loved the fast-paced and exciting environment of a leasing office. She enjoyed working part-time through college and found the sales and marketing skills she was learning in classes at UF could be applied to her work in the leasing office. Sarah's favorite part of her job as a leasing agent was planning resident events as well as managing the property's social media accounts. This role as a leasing agent led Sarah to discover her passion for the housing industry and helping students find their perfect apartment, plus she even met her current partner! Sarah was thrilled to apply her industry knowledge and marketing skills to her role as a Market Director.

Sarah has become a force of her own in the student apartment industry as she oversees the Gainesville, Tallahassee, Orlando, and Tampa markets. Alongside the guidance of her coworker Olivia, Sarah has nurtured relationships, signed new contracts, and built and maintained a client network through semiannual drops. One of the shining moments of her creativity and on-camera personality was when reimagined the Swamp Rentals neighborhood guide video series with modern storytelling. Sarah has also been a constant support to maintaining the social medias for all the markets. And with the growth of new opportunities, the team was able to divide and conquer with Sarah as the anchor to the customer facing side of the business. Sarah has taken on new challenges with excitement and determination, always eager to learn from and help her coworkers.

In her free time, Sarah loves cooking new meals and experimenting in the kitchen. She loves cooking almost as much as she loves going out to eat. Some of her favorite cuisines include Mexican (she could eat rice and beans every single day), Asian, and a good burger. She also loves to relax and unwind by reading; Harry Potter is her favorite series of all time (she's definitely a Hufflepuff)! Sarah enjoys traveling and taking weekend trips to the beach or to see family.
