Jump start your career with hands-on experience

At iLS Network, we believe that interns should get just as much out of an internship as the host company! Join a passionate team that is excited to help you learn and grow. Get trained on a fun line-up of topics and projects that will help build each intern's skillset and portfolio, while providing value for our business. Set yourself up for success while you're in college, and impress employers when you graduate.

iLS Network was founded by a team of University of Florida graduates (go Gators!), and 2 members of our full-time team joined the company as interns! Our internship offers participants the opportunity to learn more about SEO, online marketing, social media strategy, sales through relationships, market research, and the day-to-day of a start-up company.

Our team was remote before it was cool. Interns will be expected to meet once a week for a training and review session via Zoom and work and tasks will be completed remotely.

Check out our various student housing markets from SwampRentals.com in Gainesville, to RentTally.com in Tallahassee or ApartmentsForBulls.com in Tampa.

Olivia volunteer

Olivia Blitchington

Market Director at iLS Network, former intern

Olivia, pictured in the middle, found SwampRentals as a graduating senior at the University of Florida's College of Communications career fair. She excelled in sales and quickly took on a customer facing role. She was offered a full time position after graduation and has since built meaningful relationships with clients from Gainesville to Orlando.

She loves the ownership she has as the Market Director, especially with being self-managed and working on her own schedule. Olivia is pictured receiving two Volunteer of the Year awards at the 2021 Florida Apartment Association Annual Conference.

"My favorite part about my internship is that they listened, and custom tailored my work to what I wanted to do and my strengths, so I could gain valuable experience and really make a difference at the company.”

Anna

Anna DeJonge
Project Coordinator at Envisionit, former intern

Anna is a 2021 Florida State Graduate with a degree in Creative Writing and Media Communications studies. She completed her internship and built her portfolio with market research and SEO.

Now, she's impressing her coworkers at her new job:
"I just had a meeting with our company's head of SEO and he started like explaining everything in lamens terms, and finally I shared my experience working with you and was able to have such a deep conversation about it. He was very impressed with how much I knew and how up to date it all was. So thank you! I'm not on the SEO team here but you helped me really impress a fellow coworker."

"I'd definitely recommend the company and the opportunity to be taught by such a great team. That internship experience was very impressive to my current employers and is a big reason why I secured the job."

Cameron is a 2021 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Marketing with a minor in Commercial Entrepreneurship. She finished her internship after helping bring multiple student guides for various markets to life and quickly secured a job post-grad.

“My time as an intern at iLS Network was an enriching experience. Each day brought different challenges and opportunities that helped me grow and learn new skills that I carry with me every day. My favorite part of my internship experience was being in such a supportive and collaborative environment. Everyone there wants to see you succeed and is willing to help however needed. “During my internship with iLS Network they assisted me in every way possible to complete all of the paperwork and feedback to get internship credit for the GEB4941 course in the Heavener School of Business at the University of Florida. I always had something to talk about in all my weekly assignments for the class because of the valuable knowledge and experience I gained throughout the internship.”

Caroline Webb

Caroline started with iLS in January of 2021 and has since taken on a part time position on the team. She will continue her work on the team through her gradation from the University of Florida in May 2022. Caroline studies Advertising with a minor in Business Administration.

This job has taught me various skillsets from Search Engine Optimization to customer relations, but my biggest takeaway is learning how to function and support each other as a team. Working for iLS, you're given responsibility and the chance to prove yourself. The confidence that I have gained from being trusted by my superiors is what I will help me in my future career.
